I’m Dr. Thao Nguyen Bui, MD. I’m the founder of Prairie Sun Psychiatry. I provided psychiatric care for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other mood-related concerns.

I came to St. Louis for psychiatry training at Washington University and quickly grew to love the city and community here. After residency, I chose to stay in St. Louis to continue practicing psychiatry and building long-term connections with the people I serve.

In addition to extensive psychiatric evaluation, assessment, and treatments for adults with a wide range of mental health needs, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable speaking openly about their experiences. I value thoughtful, collaborative care and work closely with each person to develop treatment plans that feel individualized and realistic.
